Structa Cloud Structa Cloud

The Startup

How structa.cloud grew from freelance Django projects into a monorepo of open-source products, AI tools, and a desktop POS application.

2019 · freelance → 2026 · six products

Startup

Structa Cloud started as one developer shipping Wagtail sites. Each project repeated the same auth patterns, the same blocks, the same table layouts — until the reusable parts became a library, and the library became a monorepo of products.

the timeline

From freelance to six products

A measured path: learn the pattern, extract it, open it, productize it.

1

2019–2021 · Freelance foundations

Solo Django developer shipping Wagtail sites. WordPress had the market share; Django had the performance. Auth, CMS, payments, analytics — hand-rolled every time.

2

2022 · The reusable library

After five projects with the same auth, blocks, and tables, django-fusion was extracted — a component system and routing framework every project could share.

3

2023 · Open source and AI

Published django-fusion on GitHub, built ceptor-ai (AI chat customizer + MCP server), and started Formints, a desktop POS in Tauri 2 + Rust + React.

4

2024 · The AHA stack

Migrated from heavy React SPAs to Astro + HTMX + Alpine.js — server-rendered HTML with minimal client JS. This landing page is the framework itself.

5

2025–2026 · Products and scale

Six products shipping from one monorepo: Formints POS, Precis LMS, Loop CRM, Syntara AI, vResume, and CTC Research. Community editions are open source; paid editions are commercial.
